Medical billing pricing
Three simple pricing models based on your monthly insurance collections. Patient statements are complimentary, and pricing is always open to discussion. No hidden fees and no long-term contracts: service is month to month with 60 days’ written notice to cancel. Above $30,000 in monthly insurance collections, the fee is 3.5%, so that portion moves with collections. The flat $500 and $1,000 fees do not.

How we set your price
- Specialty. Surgical and procedure-heavy specialties take more coding work than primary care.
- Monthly collections. This sets your plan: a flat fee up to $30,000 a month, then 3.5% of insurance collections.
- Payer mix. Medicaid managed care and workers comp take more follow-up than commercial plans.
- Services. Full RCM, or a few specific services.
How your quote is built
- Practice profile. Specialty, number of providers, monthly claim volume and average monthly collections.
- Payer mix. Share of Medicare, Medicaid managed care, commercial and self-pay, since some payers take more follow-up.
- Scope. Full RCM or the specific services you choose, plus any backlog such as old A/R.
- Written quote. We confirm your plan and exact fee or percentage in writing with a list of what is included, with no hidden fees. Service is month to month with 60 days’ written notice to cancel.

How much does SFA charge?
Under $15,000 a month in insurance collections: a flat $500 a month. $15,000 to $30,000: a flat $1,000 a month. Over $30,000: 3.5% of insurance collections. Patient statements are complimentary and there is no fee on patient payments. Our pricing is flexible, and we confirm your exact price in writing after your free audit.
Why a flat fee for smaller practices?
