Assumptions
- In-house cost = salaries + benefits + software and clearinghouse fees. It does not include management time, turnover, training or office space, which add to the real cost.
- Outsourced cost = the percentage you enter times monthly insurance collections. SFA pricing: a flat $500 a month under $15,000 in monthly insurance collections, a flat $1,000 from $15,000 to $30,000, and 3.5% above $30,000. The calculator also shows SFA’s flat fee when your insurance collections are $30,000 a month or less.
