Medical Billing Services in Nevada
Billing, coding, credentialing and denial management for Nevada practices, with Medicare claims through Noridian Healthcare Solutions (Jurisdiction JE) and Nevada Medicaid handled by people who know the rules.

Medical billing for Nevada practices
Nevada's population is concentrated in Las Vegas and Reno, but its Medicaid program changed shape in 2026. Managed care, which used to cover only Clark and Washoe counties, expanded statewide on January 1, 2026, so rural practices now bill CareSource or SilverSummit Healthplan for most Medicaid patients instead of fee-for-service Nevada Medicaid.
Commercial coverage is led by Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Health Plan of Nevada, and Noridian processes Medicare Part B under Jurisdiction E. Nevada Medicaid's 180-day filing limit for in-state providers is shorter than many states allow. SFA Solutions works with Nevada practices remotely, from Henderson and Las Vegas to Carson City and Elko, and submits most clean claims within 24 hours.

Billing challenges Nevada practices face
Statewide managed care rollout
Since January 1, 2026, rural Medicaid members are assigned to CareSource or SilverSummit Healthplan instead of fee-for-service. Practices without those contracts see denials or out-of-network issues. We verify plan assignment before every visit and help you get contracted with the plans your patients use.
A 180-day Medicaid filing limit
In-state providers have 180 days from the date of service to get fee-for-service claims to Nevada Medicaid, and managed care plans set their own limits. Claims that bounce on an edit can age out quickly. We submit most clean claims within 24 hours and work rejections daily.
Out-of-state patients
Practices in Las Vegas, Reno and Lake Tahoe see many visitors and residents with out-of-state Blue Cross, Medicaid or Medicare Advantage plans. Each has its own claim route and rules. We confirm the correct payer and submission path before the claim goes out.
